We want to help make 100 million people happier at work

Most of the world’s workforce doesn’t sit at a desk. They do essential frontline jobs in industries like construction, health and social care, hospitality, logistics and manufacturing.

For most of these people, their employee experience is pretty mediocre.

They often don’t have the tools, information or support they need to do a great job. Instead, they get a one-size-fits-all approach that doesn’t respond to their needs, interests or ambitions.

The care worker who looks after your elderly mum. The barista who makes you the perfect coffee at 7am on a Monday morning. The plumber who fixes your boiler when it packs in on a cold weekend in January. All these people are currently being let down by their workplace tech.

That’s why we built Youda. Because we want to make their working lives easier, less stressful and more fulfilling.

What we think the future looks like

In the next decade, agentic AI is going to transform the way we work. Companies with large frontline workforces are going to have thousands of people working alongside tens of thousands of agents.

In that world, Youda will solve two big problems…

1Stopping the employee experience from becoming noisy, chaotic and incoherent

With Youda, all the AI agents a frontline team member needs to access are available from one app that understands what they need and when they need it. Think of Youda like the Netflix recommendation engine for agents!

2Managing performance in a people operating system that combines people and agents

Youda will give People leaders the data they need to understand what is and what isn't working, and the impact on customer experiences and business performance.

How do we get there?
STEP 1
Get rid of the admin

People Teams aren't short of ideas for how to improve employee experiences and business performance. But they are short of time. By automating the time-consuming admin and routine processes we can give People Teams back the time they need to focus on what really makes a difference.

STEP 2
Turn culture into reality

People Teams who want to attract, engage and retain the best talent need tech that reflects their company's brand, values and culture. And in a multi-generational workforce, that tech has to be flexible enough to respond to the different needs of the different people they employ.

STEP 3
Solve the fundamental problem that prevents People Teams from acting as strategic partners… evidencing causation
Why causation is the key that unlocks the future of work

Until now, HR has been hit and hope.

For decades People Teams have wanted to stop being seen as a reactive, administrative function that’s obsessed with compliance.

But it’s impossible to be taken seriously as a strategic partner if you can’t demonstrate that your work creates business value.

The uncomfortable truth is that People Teams don’t have the data they need to prove what is and isn’t working. Or to put it another way: there’s currently no way to evidence the causal relationships between people management tactics or investments and business outcomes.

That’s where Youda comes in.

Our agents are generating a new dataset on people’s behaviour at work, and we’re using that data to train a machine learning model for causal inference.

This will mean that for the first time ever, People leaders will be able to accurately predict behaviour, forecast business outcomes and prove the ROI of their work.

What it means for you

Imagine the impact you could have if…

You got rid of 80% of your admin.

You could turn your ideas into scaleable products.

You could see the data that proves what actually works and what it was worth to the business.
